Waterproof Mask Care

Thank you for using the Waterproof Mask.

It will last longer if you wash it by hand in a washbowl. After washing, remove the water by placing it in a towel and hanging it up to dry overnight.
Please avoid using a washing machine or dryer whenever possible.

Thank you for your patronage of Waterproof Mask.
After washing this product, please dry it in the shade and then use it again after it has dried. However, if you wash it several times, the part that goes over the ears may become floppy. Iron it . It will become crisp and crisp, so here is how to iron it.
We recommend ironing at 150-160 degrees.
You can use steam, but there is a plastic wire in the center, so be careful not to expose it to steam.

If you iron as described below, steam should not reach the wire.
As with any fabric, applying heat or steam will soften it. Once it is soft, press it to make it flat. Once it is flat, leave it as it is until it cools. Once it cools, it will remain flat and stable. This is the basics of ironing.
So, after you iron and press the garment and feel that the wrinkles have been removed, wait for a while until the heat has subsided.
The trick to ironing is to wait.
You can also cool it down by fanning it with a tsukune fan or blowing air on it. It takes a little time, but if you cool it down properly, the final result will be completely different. Please give it a try.
Now, please iron it following the steps below.

I washed it, hung it out to dry, and now I'm going to iron it.

1. In the center of the mask, pull the outer and inner lining of the double layer of fabric together so that they separate.

2. Fold the center seam of the front (the side that will be on the outside when you wear it) in half. When doing this, only fold the front fabric. Avoid folding the back fabric that has the plastic wire inside.

3. Iron the folded seam. After ironing, wait a little while for the heat to cool.
*At this time, be careful not to iron or steam the wire on the back.

4. Once the top part has cooled, iron the entire piece.

Next, iron the reverse side (the side that will be against your skin when you put it on. This time, do not touch the center that you folded earlier, but iron the inside of the two halves!
*It is fine to iron from the front, but due to the shape of the mask it is easier to iron from the back.
If you feel like your ear hole is a little stretched, try shrinking the hole!

To make the hole smaller, lay it out so that it is slightly wavy, then iron it as if you are gently pressing down on the wavy edges.

It was crispy!

thank you for your hard work.
The key to ironing is to take it easy and not rush.
*Professional ironers work on a vacuum table which sucks in air, so it may look like they work quickly, but if you're ironing at home, try to take your time.
